Default Difference between bugeye and blobeye?

I've owned my Bug for around 5 months now and I'm absolutely in love with it. In fact, I'm in love with the whole Scooby scene so much so that I'm already planning my next venture (I won't be getting another til' next year, but research is always good!).

So, to my question. How different would a PPP'd blobeye be to a PPP'd bugeye? Any difference in handling? Power? Etc etc.

If there's not much in it, then I might just have to go for a blobeye STi PPP, because I don't want my next car to feel identical to my current one (even though its awesome, change is always good).

So yea, is there much difference between the two?

Same engine, so PPP would deliver about the same afaik.
Its once you get to the 2.5 it changes a little.

Cool

I test drove both in STI form the bug was an unoficial ppp 305 bhp and I could not tell any difference, the dealer tried to say the bug ppp hit a ton faster but as he was driving at this stage and it was in a small lane it was so mind blowing it was hard to tell but I think the bug eye stis look better.

In terms of performance and handling I wouldn't say there is much difference.

Have to agree, the blobeye is a real minger

Didn't the blobeye have a slight increase on power to 225hp from 215ish hp?
