Default 2nd hand Maf sensor

just been lookin on here to get a maf sensor

Breakers - Subaru

i phoned up and they said £75 plus vat and delivery, do you think this is worth it considering they are only £89.99 on subaru impreza parts from scoobyworld, suppliers of high performance products for your Subaru

i think the one from the breakers will be the full unit. what do you guys think?

Ah sorry Dave forgot to ask the year, mines the last of the classic shape so thats why mine was £88. At the dealer he said the ones for the older shape are a lot more expensive.

Fitting a secondhand sensor seems almost as daft as fitting a secondhand belt or hose. Why?

If you are thinking yours may be knackered, you are better off talking to a local specialist or dealer to see if they'll help out confirming any problems.

2nd hand MAF.... for a MY99 or MY00, not in a million years..... Unless it was proven to work by a garage with all the right monitors and tools and I knew 100% that mine was worse.

dude, get a new one.

mine recently was duff, changed for a new one £90 for the sensor.

you dont need to replace the housing etc, just the sensor itself which slots into the plastic housing.

2 min job seriously.

try jase @ ScoobyBits | Subaru Specialists // New & Used Parts // Repairs & Servicing. gets them from main dealer i believe.

btw my cars a my99.
