Hi, just new here as i am going to get a scooby this week and i have a couple of questions.
daft question but what fuel is ok for my scooby to run on ? its a standard 03 STI type UK i have bought. is regular unleaded ok to run it on or should i be looking for a higher octaine like optimax? i dont want to damage the engine or anything.
also what mods and approx price would i be looking to take it to somwhere like 280bhp - 300bhp
cheers neal

Petrol wise, it will run fine on standard unleaded 95 ron, however, it will thank you for putting super unleaded at 97 ron or optimax in, it may runa little better with those fuels. All down to opinion really although I think the car produces a bit more power on super or optimax, we are talking minimal though.

Getting a Scott Lowe or Revolution front splitter is a must I think, really finishes the front end off, then things such as exhaust systems are a good idea to get your Scoob sounding as it should. Have a look on Scoobyworld, Revolution etc.
Systems such as Ninja, Afterburner, Blitz, Revolution, TSL are all a good bet.

Thats correct mate, good old Ingleby.
Just got my Revolution front splitter and catback system fitted today, if you wanted to have a peek or listen at the motor then you are welcome, a meet can easily be arranged, best way is to look or listen to someone elses motor before going ahead with any mods.
The exhaust system I have just had fitted sounds immense, best sound I've heard and it looks the business although it should be for the cost.
Just drop me a PM if you like fella.
