Default Legacy help

Hi all

First post as a new member. Was looking to buy an WRX Impreza wagon but not had a lot of luck for various reasons. This weekend talked into looking at a Legacy twin turbo on a 95 plate. Was not particularly interested in that car but am now leaning towards maybe considering one in better nick. Can anyone point me to a site where I could find some performance figures i.e. 0 - 60, and fuel consumption (lol).

Thanks in advance

Martin

Default legacy

Martin i recently sold a twin turbo legacy. it was a 99t auto. it was quick and handled well. you see alot advertised as big brother to the impreza. i now own an impreza sti wagon its a 96, firstly the car is much more responsive than the legacy the turbo lag in the legacy wasn't bad but there are two and there is a slight pause when the first turbo stops and the second spools up. next the fuel consumption the legacy is a guzzler, the impreza is not frugal though. the difference between them is i put £50 into the legacy and got appoximately 170 miles give or take 15. the impreza last fill, was approximately 190 miles for £43. the automatics are heavier on fuel than manuals too. the impreza is much more nimble than the legacy and more controllable in the wet. my legacy had bilstien suspension. the impreza has JDM sti spec supsension i don't know the difference i will say the impreza is much better handling though. my best advice is take both cars for a long test drive not 2 miles 30 or 40 that will make your mind up. good luck. PS i would never choose a legacy over an impreza again but that doesn't mean you will feel the same.
