How much for a full paint job?
Evening all,
I had some idiot dent my front wing over the weekend, looks like the boot was put in!
Anyways, I have a good number of blemishes ,scratches,car-park dings etc. on almost every panel that need sorting.
Can anybody give me a rough estimate for a full strip down and complete respray?
Many thanks in advance.

id say around £2000-2500 if its a standard colour.
had around 75% of my car sprayed in may after a **** pulled out a junction on me. saw in the repair bill that the spray work was around £1200+ for that.

Do not get respray!! Get Dent Devils or Chips Away for a quote first. Got quoted £200 to get rear arch ding filled and resprayed. Dent Devils at NBO did it for £80 with no painting! Never get your car painted if you can get away with it!!

im at a nissan main dealer and we've just finished a 350z full paint inc shuts, some small repairs, mica yellow 3 stage colour, quoted him £1900ish but to get the job in we dropped to £1700, he'd had a kit fitted and another bodyshop painted it 5 times,(but he wasnt happy/crap job). we did it, he picked it up 2 weeks after droping it off and said "its the best respray ive ever seen". so dont pay silly money.

For a sunny gtir about 7 years ago for respraying in the standard colour from a main dealer I was quoted nearly 3 grand. Found a backstreet painter who was based near my tuner at the time and charged me 600 quid for a full respray in the existing colour and tidied up the bodywork a bit as well. This was in proper dust free facilities etc. It pays to shop around, ask to see examples of work as well (I was okay cos the garage where I used to go had cars in that had been done by this guy)
