mmmmm I've just read your recent post on more psssssssssssst.
I'm not sure this will give the sound you crave, I didn't notice much extra noise when I did mine.
Basically it consits of removing the airbox resonator which is located in the inner off side wing. This will require taking off the wheel and plastic inner arch lining to get to the resonator box. It is easily taken off the air piping and it can be thrown in the bin with your standard exhaust etc.

When having my dumpvalve fitted Friday the guy who fitted it, pointed to the snorkel and told me about a carbon fibre mod.
Wish I took more notice, he did say it would improve noise.
Anyone heard of this.

There are lots of mods that remove the snorkel and force air through the front fog light recess into the wing area. Has to be plumbed in well though, as too much air and it will blow the liner out......
You pay your money and take your choice.

i thought there were so many holes on the inner side of the front wing air is more likely to be forced into the engine bay rather then push it self through the liner

There are two holes that are left after the snorkelectomy. The path of least resistance is directly out through the wheel liner, not turning 90 degrees into the engine bay unaided....
This is why it needs to be ducted into the engine bay. There are lots of threads about this, and examples of people blowing their liners off with too big an intake from the front foglight.
