I have PPP on my MY00 classic and was wondering what boost i should be getting as i normally only get 0.8bar but seems to rise to 1 bar now and again.

Should the PPP increase the boost over a standard classic?

PPP should be 1.1 to 1.2bar I was told. As thats waht I'm getting on mine, according to my DEFI gauge.

 

Yes, should be 1.1 to 1.2 Bar but maybe your gauge is not so accurate.

 

What things may cause it to be underboosting?

 

Should be 1.1, peak at 1.2. Your problem could be the boost solenoid (needs cleaning), had that problem on my MY00 PPP'd car

My MY99 PPP is also 1.1 and peaks up to 1.2

You have probably been asked this many times but which unit is the boost solenoid. The only thing i have that it could be is a small cylindrical unit which is blue in colour and has 'Denzo' written on it.

Any ideas?
