I bought another Scoob. Last time it was the sheep in wolfs clothing, the Sport dressed up as the real thing. Now insurance is more affordable so I've bought the "proper" one.
I was hooked from the test drive. Picked it up on Saturday, but on Saturday night the seal around the coolant reservoir let go, as did one of the pipes. Pee'd off was not the word.
However, it went back on Sunday and this week it'll be cambelted along with a few other problems that I noticed in the few hours I was driving it for.
As with any car I buy I like to get involved with the clubs and forums. I met a few members from here many years ago on a drive from the Basildon McDonalds / KFC down to Southend. I remember the distinctive black beast, with the pipes exiting under the side skirts. And the flaming Cossies that tagged along with us.
Anyhoo, glad to be back. Look forward to meeting some of you in the future.
I do need a bit of help to tell you the truth, such a what's probably a total newb question, but, when do I use my IC spray and whats the spec on a 1995 WRX STi, etc........
Some pics.

Pardon the bump gents, but would appreciate some info on the model I've bought. Power output being one of them. All the different specs confuse the **** out of me.
Anything appreciated, even if it's telling me to sod off and google it. Which I already have done.

Nice motor mate and welcome to SN.In my book it does not list a 95 wrx sti but there is a 93/94 wrx sti, model code GC8B48D modified from a standard wrx impreza 250 bhp,228 lb ft,these cars would not have come with water spray so i'm a bit puzzeld by that.It does list a 95 wrx ra sti ,model code GC8C47D 275 bhp 235.4 lb ft but i think these only came in runs of white.sorry can not give you much info mate but i hope this helps.

Check out the Essex Scooby Crew Forum - there is a meet this Thursday evening and many more over the next few months.
The monthly cruise to Southend is still THE event of the scooby calendar, all mentioned on the forum.
I'm sure many on there will also be able to answer your queries re your car.
Introduce yourself to Tiny - he will help you.

Once I pick it up then I'll have a good look over it for some identifying marks, browse the Jap paperwork etc.
Looie - noted mate, will have a look at the forum.
