Default Sooo what to do next on my STi???

Got myself a 2007 STi 2 weeks ago and so far I have done a few bits and bobs to it, such as:

Afterburner Vortex and Afterburner Centre Section - What a sweet sound this system gives!!
Revolution Front Splitter
Kenwood DDX-7029 with Bluetooth Adaptor

Now I am pondering what to do next......

I have already added a new set of rims to my insurance policy as I got to do that for free so I always have that option at the ready.

However, that will be quite a costly option, £800+ I guess. Any recommendations for rims on my hawkeye??

Therefore if you had say £500 going spare at the moment what would you buy for MY07 STi?

Could be a few little things or one big thing etc?

Any thoughts are welcomed.

Cheers

Marcus,

I'm not sure what the TSL sounds like but get a Vortex bunged onto your hawkeye and get that right pedal to the floor!

Basically on tick over it gives a nice deep growl, I personally like the sound it gives on setting off upto 2-2.5K revs, real deep and with the holy burble!

When your giving it some you get the pops and bangs on over run which is always nice, great sound when shifting up and down as well.

I had a good inspection on its arrival and for the total price of £400 delivered the quality was superb and it looks the part.

Due to MY06 and MY07 set up regarding the rear diffuser you can only have the straight exit Vortex and not the angled exit but the straight exit looks superb.

As you can see I am going on a bit simply due to the fact that I love this system. I have been told off quite a few people that if you want a mentally loud exhaust then go for the Blitz Nur Spec R, however, if you want something a step down then go for the Vortex and Afterburner straight through system.

I will try and grab some sound clips or even better some video clips tomorrow as I've been meaning to do this now since I got my few mods done, so maybe that will give you a better idea. It needs to be heard in person though really.

Hope this helps.

Are there any guides on how to fit new front and rear speakers?

'View my scooby', and takes your pick. Prodrive Springs has to be at the top of the list, and a set of 18" rotas (without tyres) will only set you back £500). Proper alignment after the Springs and the handlings sorted. Get a decat rear centre, fuel pump, panel filter and a remap and job done.

Best advice is get to know the car as it is, you will appreciate the changes more over a period of time. I am running mods to approx 335BHP/375FtLbs and already I can't remember it when it was slower.

Security wise I'm set:

Obviously the standard Impreza security as well as the new tracker system Metasat.

Then got a Disklok on it, which apparently take upto 4-5 mins to get off.
