Default Seats in 2007 WRX?

Could anyone clarify what seats come in the UK dealer WRX?

I am looking at buying 2007 WRX import and have two options With or without Airbags, I gather that the seats are completly different??? I have seen the name sports seats and bucket seats but dont know which refers to which one?

I just want the most comfortable! (dont care about airbags or not!)

When I bought mine (MY05), UK cars had flat seats with side airbags and Euro cars had more shaped seats (with a lump bit between your legs) but no side airbags. Many say the latter are better/comfier.

All UK 2007 models have the side airbags. If you order an import without side airbags then strictly speaking it is not a UK-spec car. You should tell your insurer if the car does not have side airbags - it alters liability (i.e. greater risk of injury-related claim). Personally I would not want one without side airbags.

I wouldnt have the one with side airbags, iv driven both and the ones without hold you far better. As for insurance, it doesnt have any affect with the company i am with and i have declaired it is an import.

Given the choice i would still go for no air-bags!

I have the euro import with side airbags and love 'em.
Not exactly the smallest person in the world, but find they offer enough support even for some fast corners etc.

Prefer them to the ones in my previous bugeye, which were non airbag.

Was not aware you could get the imports without tbh, but prefer the airbags. Style of seat is really not that different, other than support level. They still look good

Without airbags = 'fixed' headrest which is part of the seat. Do the airbagged seats have adjustable headrest?

To my mind, the 2006/2007 style STi seats (flat with airbags) are not as comfortable as the Classic seats. I have recently returned from a continental holiday of over 2,000 miles and overall comfort did not match my Classic and the other half was complaining.

They are also wider and so provide less lateral support.

I like those! Much more grown up than the usual seats

Yep decided to get the airbags not sure if that seat in the photo has them or not, the dealer said the airbag seats look exactly the same as the non airbags seats apart from the side bit being bigger?

Got to wait until October 21st until the car arrives

Ye, the ones in the pic have air-bags, the ones below dont, just in case the dealer tries to pull a fast one.

I had to make a last minute dash to buy one, I have been planning to buy one for a few years but never got around to it, after seeing the new model I made my mind up pretty quick that I would only ever like the old hawkeye so I have paid the deposit and waiting for the arrival. It should be interesting as I have never even sat in an Impreza let alone driven one, I have ordered it over the phone, hope they are as goood as everyone says they are!
