no you should be fine as it is mate, i think once you start to remove cats, then a re-map would be recomended

I don't think you need a remap for fitting a de resonated centre section, only if you fit a decat downpipe. You hear a few more pops when it's fitted

on your PPP you've had the cat after the downpipe changed to a decat pipe (this is your centre section) but the resonated pipe (the next one along) is left standard (god knows why, it needs the de-res pipe to bring the prodrive backbox alive IMHO).

well worth changing for the sake of £80odd if only to make the whole system stainless

haha no worries mate, i think its personal choice which brand you use, altough with you having the prodrive exhaust already why not go for the centre section too. if your exhaust is standard size then it will be 2.5inch

Which tailpipe are you intending to fit the new ctre section?

Because from my experience unless you use the same brand, they don't mix n' match very well.

My h+s centre section would never in a million years match up to my Genome silencer correctly without making the tailpipe hang too low at an odd angle, put a massive strain on the hanger and cause the gasket at the front of the pipe to blow

everyone else has pretty much covered everything, but mine is a TSL pipe and fitted perfect to my Prodrive and Genome backboxes i know there was a thread a while back about some fitting issues with a certain brand, but i can't remember the name and i think it was a jigging issue that's since been sorted.

sure you'll be fine with the H&S

Another confirmation for you, on my old '03 wrx, I had an H&S front decat, centre de-resonated pipe and a WRSport (same as prodrive) backbox and it all fitted together perfectly.

Nige.

Quick Reply: fitted my de-resonated centre section
