I too have seen the new Scoob..........
............and it's more bland and uglier in the flesh than in photos!
Saw oner at Souls in Olney yesterday, in silver, (not my fave colour), and OK, only a normally aspirated version, but it was soooooooooo bland and unidentifiable.
Strangely enough there was an MG ZR parked outside, which actually,, although very similar, looked better.
The interior was also bland, everyone else's hot hatch, and BORING! It had lots of nasty plastic and looked cheap.
Subaru have lost the plot, it's official;(

Sorry A bit like looking at 1.1L focus and judging the whole Brand eg a Focus ST IMHO
OK it will still be a Hatch
The WRX(S-GT) is better but just wait till you see the STi
