Default Wiring Loom

Please help lol

I have just spent the wkend breaking a Subaru Type R, Im going to put the engine into my jap import on a 95 plate, can anyone tell me if I would have to change the wiring loom aswell??

I will be running a apexi ecu which has 3 pin inputs, not sure about the 95 jap import? Im hoping I will not have to change the whole loom also.

Can someone please help me.

Thanks
Pablo

Not sure of the year on your type R, but my wrx had the p1/type r engine put in and it needed the loom, it has the full loom for the clocks aswell as dccd , and it was a job and a half lol

you dont need the loom, you can see the ancillaries and sensors from the old block, im sure splcuing in the DCCD wiring wouldnt be that much of an issue and you could locate a pre 98 dash with the DCCD lights.... But if you want to do a complete transplant sensors/ECU included you'll need the loom.

Was going to use the engine and the ecu as its all programed together, not worry about the dash etc need to make my money back loads of spares. Would I need to change the loom for the engine and ecu, Im not fitting the diff control / dash / gearbox.....would I still have to change loom?

Thanks again guys
