Performance Fuel in France query

Taking my son off to see England Tonga game on Friday for his birthday ... what is the equivalent fuel in France to Shell Optimax or Texco 99 please ?

I buy "Sans Plomb 98" aka "SP98", available widely, even at tiny supermarket fuel stations.
It's not much dearer than SP95, either, and I've had no problem no matter where I bought it.
When I was last over, (end of August) it was €1.32 a litre, so around 93p at supermarkets and around 18 cents dearer on motorways.

Not exactly France but I've just come back from a week in Turkey. Between Dalaman airport and Marmaris (only about 50 miles) there are 7 Shell stations selling V-power, how come only 1 in Hull.
