Taking my son off to see England Tonga game on Friday for his birthday ... what is the equivalent fuel in France to Shell Optimax or Texco 99 please ?

All i remember is "Sans plomb 98".

I buy "Sans Plomb 98" aka "SP98", available widely, even at tiny supermarket fuel stations.

It's not much dearer than SP95, either, and I've had no problem no matter where I bought it.

When I was last over, (end of August) it was €1.32 a litre, so around 93p at supermarkets and around 18 cents dearer on motorways.

While I was in Corsica (technically part of france) their 'Super' unleaded was 95ron... Not really helpful but i found it interesting

Not exactly France but I've just come back from a week in Turkey. Between Dalaman airport and Marmaris (only about 50 miles) there are 7 Shell stations selling V-power, how come only 1 in Hull.
