Default Porker Turbo's: They sure is fast!!!

I know they're pick of the bunch when it comes to Porkers so when he got in front of me and started to rev his engine, I just thought why not see what that power is like when it's put down. I didn't expect to beat the chap of the light or even loose him in the twisties as there weren't any. Just a nice long stretch and thats it. Well we must of been the same speed at 5mph and then he took off. He had 3 people in the and he made me look like I was driving a Fiat Panda 500, backwards. I gave up about 80Mph (speed limit 70mph) by that time he was a mere speck in the distance.

Serious RESPECT to the Porker (Turbos that is)

Alex

Nah, don't think so. Gave it the once over before hand, at the lights and it was an 2004, white Convretable with Turbo on the back and that was it. I agreed with the Turbo as for the width of the wheels!.

I sold my Porsche 964 Turbo II a short while ago before getting into my STI 4. Before the Turbo I'd had many other fast cars including Jap ones. The 964T was in a totally different league to all my previous cars and blew my STI into the weeds - it was utterly awesome. I'm back into the STI to save money for the track but there isn't a day that goes by when I don't miss the Porsche.

Alex you old poof

You can't have been trying! You've got 340bhp ish vs a 911 with 440bhp, that weighs 1700kg & was also 4 up!

Time you traded her in for a Scenic

See what it was ......

the Lights went green and I went off but he didn't. so I braked and then he wen off so I didn't even have any rev's to play with

Plus If I had some good Music in the car I could of done at least to 60. But i didn't, I just had the girlfriend saying "Slow down"

So unfair!!!!! Plus I had a hot Pizza in the car so serious Power/Weight issues!!!!!!!!

The 996 turbo in any form never came with more than 450bhp.

Swear there was at least one person in the back as you could see their head pressed up on the Glass/plastic window. I wouldn't think that they were stretching out in there.

True - the X50 pack (later the Turbo S) gave it 450. Unless it was a 996GT2, however. In which case it's not going to be caught by a scoob. I reiterate - 911turbos are in a different league!
