Legacy Tyre wear question - confused?

Hi
My brother has a 05 legacy 3.0lt. His near side front is very worn on the outside edge (almost smooth). The off side front is pretty much the same as the rears.
Why is that one wearing more? How can he solve the problem.

Also tyre pressure. Front of Legacy must be quite heavy so I'd run the front pressures at least the recommended "full load" values. Try at least 36 psi in the front and possibly as high as 39.

Tracking would wear both fronts evenly, but if the camber is out that side or some other defect, along with under or over inflated tyres it will trash it quick...a bent lower arm (from kerbing) can do that as well.
Ideally he needs a full alignement check at the front.
