Default I am an Idiot!

Reversed my MY05 Spec C into a pillar in an underground car park

Need a new driver side light plus a new bumper.

Can anyone tell me is the Spec C bumper the same as a UK spec Sti?

Keeping that in a vat of extremely hot water will probably bring it back to life (and back into shape).

Anyone know where I could source a new bumper & light in the UK?

Subaru Ireland dont have any in stock so I would have to wait 3-4 weeks.

Wez, that looks like it can be repaired to me. The bumper doesn`t even look cracked, have a drive to a local reputable body shop in your area and they will tell you what the score is, why pay for a new bumper when you might not need one.

Cheers Rob,

but I had a bodyshop look at today. They told me if I want it to be 100% then the only option is a new bumper. They said it could be repaired ok but to the trained eye it will be noticeable. The rest of the car is immaculate so I want to keep it that way as long as I can (then watch out for pillars in underground car parks!).

So anyone know where I could source the parts in the UK?

Get it repaired anyway mate, you can always sell it on ebay at a later date, it will help with the cost of the new bumper.

Rear light is EUR250.

Does anyone know if the UK light + bumper is the same as the Spec C?

Any body shop worth their mustard can fix that bumper for you, you should have picked up the bits of light you could have glued it back together as a temporary fix until a second hand one shows up..

Try hills motors for the light..

Used Parts and Spares :: Hills Motor...
