Thanks to all that offered advice on the above.


Robocop, your Site was great.

Rang Halfords today ( set is 18 months old not sure of warranty period).

Was told to go on line dowload all the new Tom Tom stuff.

Sound still won't work!

The Site Robocop put me onto, found in the licence file, that it IS 2 Years, so I'm gonna take ut back and get it replaced!!

our tomtom 510 has a 2 year warranty, just been replaced under it also at just over a year old. customer service was excellent.
