Yes today I saw a very strange sight indeed, and it had to be a Subaru Driver.
While filling up with petrol the car was left running, and when he went to pay the car was left running.
The car was driven about half a mile from his house, and looking at the gasses coming from the exhaust it was still cold.
WHY?

Possibly had a flat battery, trying to get some charge into it, and thought he was being clever leaving it running while filling up.
Could be a clifford alarm on there, or a turbo timer he dont know how to operate too I guess.

I'm sorry but everyone jumping on the guy for leaving his engine running and claiming oh my god it'll explode, give over.
In America, there is no requirement to turn off an engine and all over the Middle East there is no requirement to do it either as there is no proof that leaving it running WILL cause an explosion or fire.
Only in England because everything has to be over safetyfied (made up word
) is this a requirement, without any proof ever really being given there's a safety problem.

Well, there you go... learn something new everyday. Amazing how sometimes we all just mindlessly do what we are told isn't it
Perhaps the chap had just got back from living abroad.
