Unhappy Not Happy, Feeling Low, after Sympathy

Well I got my scooby a week ago now, and its been great fun, but last night i had a mishap on my bike (mountain) and now have a broken elbow No drining for me for at least 6 weeks now , I am really hacked off, i was doing nothing stupid on my bike, I was going out for a ride with my daughter, we were only 50 meters from the house on our way out, when my front wheel locked up and I went over the handle bars, I wasnt even going fast.... i have found out the brake pad had come loose and jammed in the disk....

I am hurting

Accidents happen, sometimes doing simple things. Get your spirits up, eat well and pop a few vitemins to keep help your body heal up fast - you will be back on your feet in no time.

Lol you big girls! I was doing the company sports day summer 06 and went head over heels in the 100 metres sprint. Being in the lead, wanting to win and weighing 22 stone and your body suddenly giving in saying you aren't a 16 year old stud anymore meant pretty major damage lol. I broke my shoulder and mildly crushed various parts of my back, yet was back at work the next morning LOL. I also competed in all the following events for the rest of the sports day, winning the sack race and being anchor in the tug of war on tha same broken shoulder lol. I left all the pain for 4 weeks before deciding to sort it out which was when I was told about all the damage I had done at hospital and that the shoulder was already setting itself back in place, a tad squiff but setting all the same lol. I drove myself to the hospital and drove myself back from the hospital. I signed myself off for 2 days for the sheer hell of it and that was that.

The year before that when I was a muppet and wasn't using glasses with my dremel I got a steel shaving stuck inside my eye socket. After 5 days of that scraping away I decided sod it, an absolute goddess of an eye doctor at the hospital went digging around inside my eye while I got to look down her top for 20 mins and she pulled out a now rusty lump lol from the back of the socket somewhere.

I am very tough, but also very stupid to boot and refuse to accept the fact that I am getting older and am not actually indestructable.......

These things happen. I regularly go for a month plus at a time without driving the scoob while upgrading things etc, it will fly by.
