On the Clinics rollers it made 324hp......this was before the frontmount/K+n filter which was then mapped by Zen but never been back on rollers.

It will cost £250-£400 for a remap if licensed and near £600 if not licensed.

They go for anywhere between £40 and £100 on ebay.

I was only charged £140 inc for tweeking this ecu????

If the ecu is worth £100 and then the cost of the license is say £100....then a tweek of the map is £140......

This is a good saving on Ecutek at £600 ?????

Or am i missing something....

If your wanting to value the ECUTEK license then it would be £150 + Vat to buy along the the £350 + VAT for the remap.

A tweak may cost £120 but if you fit the ECU to another car, it want more than a tweak mate,

Only tryin to answer your questions

Wasn,t be funny...........and value your input..So even if the ecu went into a my 99 sti with similar mods,it would still need a complete session of mapping?

Just trying to gauge what its worth ,and if its only gonna be £40-£100 then i think i,ll just keep it!!!

Cheers

well been told a new ecu from subaru is £1200 , and been told 2 difference prices for the licence, £300 and £150.

the map will be useless and will need to be started from scratch.

so realy depends how much you can charge, idealy after £200 ish for mine off a 2000 year UK car, bear in mind this aint ebay and was taken off by scoobyclinic and is in full working order
