HKS jasma exhaust real?
firstly i want to say hello as im new to scoobynet
right i want to know if my HKS silent hi-performance zaust is genuine, it doesn't say HKS muffler on the back box like some of the pics ive seen of them but it came with a HKS cert & a JASMA cert, all it has on the back box is a jasma plate with cert number & silent hi-performance stamped on.
i wanting to swap it for another exhaust to a lad who has a nur spec s & a tsl motorsport middle section as he wants something quieter (he's old) but he thinks it's fake, im after something a bit louder, all the numbers match up but in the world of snide copys you can get anything to make it real.
so what do you all think?
thanks marc.

I understood Jasma to be some sort of standard rather than a brand.
You see many JDM cars with "Jasma exhaust" but its not a tuning brand.
Whether your exhaust is made by HKS I don't know.

on the HKS cert is say's "muffler" & i had a look on google about jasma & i think it's to do with the DB, street legal in japan is 96DB & jasma must be some sort of testing to make sure it's under that, i think that's what it could be but i could be wrong, but thanks Edd

Does it look like this?
If so it's genuine.
Bought mine here in Japan.
Bl@@dy good exhaust!
JASMA is not a brand. It's a certification authority which gives after market exhausts a certificate of compliance. i.e. below legal decibel limits.
