Default Stu-pid riding dvd ??

Thought I had seen it all with swedens " Ghost Rider " but seems the uk has a couple off these nutters too- one riding a bike and one driving an evo !!

nice youtube link for a preview off the dvd, the full length dvd is alledgly available thru certain torrent sites as well ??!!

YouTube - Suzuki GSXR 1000 and Mitsubishi EVO 8 MR, 180 MPH COPS CHASE

looks all genuine to me apart from the police chase- unmarked white T5 - bit to ghostrider dvd looking if you ask me !!

must admitt it does make very entertaining viewing !!!

This is all we need. As if we haven't got enough idiots on the road as it is, this dvd is going to create another bunch of would be invincible show offs. Shame the biker wasn't taken out the twice that he came close too.

They all deserve to die horribly to be perfectly honest, preferably hitting objects and not innocent road users . Watched that 'preview' and I just can't fathom how they think that is clever.........

Watching some off the over-taking is actually frightening at times !! nearly wipes out one car at one stage.

believe those involved have since been caught up with ??!! ( no pun intended !! )

watch you reckon to the police car scene being staged ?? false plates on car and bike??

Have a copy of this dvd. Must admit does look a little fabricated.
Agree the riding/ driving leaves a lot to be desired. One thing killing yourself another involving innocents.

As I say the plates looked very much made up for the filming ie bike one was something like gsx1000 and the EVO was something like v111evo, possible but surely made up.

remember this video was not something just made up to be posted on youtube etc this was a commercially available dvd even if it has probably been d/loaded watched online in the majority off cases !!

Just watched a few of the clips on youtube ( havent watched the whole thing ) and theres something a bit odd about this video.

1) The unmarked cop car - they just happen to have a camera by the side of the road for when the car is chasing them ? Also, in a chase like that I'm sure the cops would have the helicopter out asap and it would be game over.

2) Check the gear display on the GSXR, a lot of the time hes only in 2nd - some of the parts where hes supposed to be doing lightning speeds, hes only around 50 to 70 ( makes me wonder if its an import and the readout is in kmh rather than mph ? )

3) The other vehicles - in some parts where hes supposed to be touching 170 - 1) it doesnt look like hes anywhere near that looking at the speed the scenery goes past ( compare this yourself with how quick trees go past, and how quick corners come up when you are driving fast ) and 2) his speedo shows 130 but it takes him a while to come up to overtake some little hatchback - unless the hatchback was doing 100+ then he would have got up to it a lot quicker. The only places he really seems to open it up are on empty motorways.

Yes, the riding and overtaking is stupid in a lot of places, but there is a whiff of BS about this - particularly as it was done as a commercial release. The original Ghostrider stuff wasnt done for sale, and is real, this just looks like a dodgy copycat vid by someone trying to cash in.

A mate of mine had an evo 6 gsr kicking our in the region of 360hp that would top out at 172 yet that 326hp fq manages 181 hmm fishy.

This dvd was taken on some roads near me, and i can assure you its unfortunately all completely genuine. The local papers were full of the story, but as far as im aware they didnt have enough evidance to say it was who it was. The plates were fake and the bike sold soon after. And although i think the driving/riding was rather stupid, i had to smile at the speed camera suffering a horrible fate
