Default STI type-uk spec D help!

Hi,

I am after a fairly new STI, but it is for a company car. Saw on the scooby site that something called a Spec D exists, all the benifits of the STI, handling, power, interior etc but without the 'YOU CANT HAVE THAT AS A COMPANY CAR' look

So, i took a normal STI out, what a car, loved it, just want to be certain before i put a deposit down that the SpecD is the same car?

This would be a 56 or 07 plate with 8kish on the clock for about 20k.

Also if anyone can point me in the direction of good insurers that would be nice

Thanks
Steve

Spec D stands for discreet, no high level wing and silver wheels.

Also gets more sound deadening and leather but has all the go of the STi.

Recommended insurers on here are A Plan and Greenlight, have a butchers in the insurance section

List price was £28k came down to £20-£21k in March when IM couldn't sell them all.
I'd try and get that price down by another £1K.
I insure mine through Keith Michaels. Contact Gary who posts as Moley WRX on the insurance forum.

~Thanks for the response, I took a WRX out as well but although quicker than my current car it felt like i would get bored quicker, and the missus has put me under strict instructions to make sure im happy with this one and will keep it for more than 2 years

Unfortunately as im 24 no insurance company want to go near me, 25 in january at which point the insurance goes from 3500 to 1200, Evidently im going to learn some life changing drivng skills in the next 3 months, excellent !?

What the hell is the I/c spray button for?? (i assume i/c is intercooler and spray meaning a ater spray)?

Water sprayed onto the intercooler keeps charge temps down.

Now if only someone could explain that
