Anyone know if the planned / talked about postal strike for the next 48 hours actually went ahead today ( mon ) ??

 

Sporadic unofficial strikes mainly in London and Liverpool according to the bbc.

 

Nope we are not on strike today or tomorrow. As the strikes we deemed illegal by the hight court.

Not sure about Liverpool where there were wildcat unofficial strikes though.

Probably no more strikes as an agreement was reached over the weekend. An anouncement is due today at 2pm I believe. The workforce will be balloted with the new pay deal and I would be very suprised if they didn't except it.

Didnt notice anyone outside the 9 Elms sorting office today, so think they are back.

 

lets hope its a good deal!!! or the last 2 48hrs would have been for nothing....
