Talking Clifford G5 650 MkII Install

HI, Having this alarm installed today and was wondering if the windows auto close is a standard option or a payable one?

It needs an extra module to close the windows. My local Clifford dealer quoted an extra £200 .

However the smart windows will allow you to open them too, where as if the car had total closure factory fitted, you would not need to pay for the closure, but would not be able to open them..... If that makes ANY sense lol

Do not under any circumstances get window lifts of any sort.

1. if you have kids

2. if you want to buy new motors for the windows

I had them fitted and after 3 months the 2 front motors on driver and passanger sides went, more expense. got 2 new ones fitted and the subaru garage said you will be back in less then six months, 6mths to the week. they went again, its something to do with the motors still running when the windows are closed. It basicly means the motors continue to run even after the windows are sealed.

Also if you have closing senors DONOT have kids in car.. sore hands..

Sry to be a bearer of bad news, but with experience. i wish i never had them included.
