Default dont suppose...

anyone on here has a spare black wedge for the passenger side of a my99 bumper have they?

bit of harsh luck this morning, has resulted in my passenger wing and corner bumper being scraped a bit. some idiot in a megane decided in the works carpark, just after turning left on the mini-roundabout to halt rather suddenly to mount the kerb and pick up a mate of his. i was literally crawling behind him, but had to swerve and scraped his drivers side rear bumper as i stopped.

not much damage, maybe a little spray work, but need new wedge (fell out) and a side light.

was really foggy too this morning. ive dared him to claim against me, as he didnt even indicate or anything. and no, i wasnt up his **** either, i even had my foggies on to see better infront.

someone help me out on the wedge front? will pop through to rotherham to see jase re. a side light later.

they say bad things come in threes, exhaust monday, this today.... hope shes not pregnant.

suppose i best try stay calm, could have been worse.

just took her round the back onto the driveway, and tried polishing the mess out. scratches and a couple scuffs, wing is slightly bent in a little. may be able to bend out.

this was the result of a couple thick coats of autoglym super resin and a cloth...

Hope he doesn't try to claim, best you could hope for is knock for knock... Anyone hits you from behind its automaticly their fault.

Unless you can prove he reversed into you, your on shaky ground. If he stopped without indicating, as far as insurance is conserned you should have been able to stop in time.. He is a plank for stopping without indication, its unexpected and his fault that he got hit.. BUT no matter what the circumstances are you should have been able to stop if you were following him...

Its a little different if someone pulls out infront of you, but if he was in sight at all times you will be found to be at blame!

well, il wait and see. ive already repaired my car anywho.... sidelights courtesy of flix (cheers mate ), and even had the blitz fitted today.

only visable sign of a collision is the wings pushed in maybe 1cm. so he can prove i hit him, in the fog, when he refused to take any details, and took just a phone number and buggered off.

if he gets arsey, il take it from there...
