Default does your mrs drive quicker than you??

my mrs very rarley drives my scoob
and i let her nip out to the shops in it yesterday and we have just got home from an afternoon at the park with my girls at markeaton in derby for those who know it

anyway...i drove there at a nice steady 60mph and not taking it more than 2000rpm at gear changes through town

i let my mrs drive back which she got all excited about and ending up snapping me neck in 1st 2nd and 3rd racing some pimped up beemer up the
A38

there was just no need.....she had a round of ***** of me and her excuse was i never det to drive it and when i do atleast i keep it in a straight line!!!

She doesn't drive it faster, but she loves a bit of last second breaking, so our A to B times are probably similar

I'm lucky. The missus doesn't drive and good job as well.
Its bad enough having her as a back seat driver.

Scotty.

My wife is a lunatic, she races everyone, thinks people are trying to race her even although it is a 70 year old woman driving a 1 litre Fiesta.

She calls me Grandad when I drive and I have 6 ponts for speeding. Enough said really.

I don't let my misses drive the scooby, she drives way faster than me and is now so blind she can't see the speedo clearly.
The children won't go in any car with their mum as they are toooo scared!

I have to keep peeling myself of the windscreen, usually seconds after asking the missus if she's spotted that speed camera, and that's in her scenic. I haven't been in the scooby when she's driven it, but there is a few panels that could do with a lick of paint so you could say there's a silver lining to every cloud

My wife drives my JDM STi, and since it's fitted with a PSi3 data dash. I can reset it then see what she's been up to.
1.55 bar, 6000+ rpm and 3 figure speeds are not unknown.

She can't drive my WRX ra track car though. Seats are fixed and she can't reach the pedals.

Driving at less than 2000 revs is not best for a scoob engine, especially in higher gears when there may be a tendency to attempt to accelerate away without changing down. A freely revving engine will cause less damage than one which is struggling.

Just my two penneth worth.
