A 5 DOOR P1. Has there ever been such thing? Someone I know has 'got one' apparently, and he says it's a Subaru Concept only 1 of 5 or something! 2001 reg etc.

He also says he has certification from Subaru that it's a P1 Concept.

Thoughts please?

I think the only odd P1 was white and used by Prodrive as a demo car.

 

there were several white prodrive mules used as test cars for prodrive,ring prodrive to cofirm chassis no etc

Didn't know there was more than 1 white P1.

Theres the dark blue P1 that was a respray from new.

Theres 1 or 2 - 4 door Sonic Blue saloons that were either complete fakes or part of the P1 program.

But I've never heard of a wagon P1 - can't see it.

 

This is a front view of the car, this is all I have at the moment.
When I put the registration number into some sites, it tells me it's a 2000 turbo AWD.

So I',m guessing this is a UK spec impreza. Whats the power on a standard 2001 uk impreza turbo?

Also, there is a pic of the engine with red paint on the manifold, but it's flaking off, looks like it's been sprayed, do the legit red engines done by Subaru flake?

This is a 4 door, can you see from the photo what says straight away that it's different to a P1?

but can't be because it's a 4 door saloon, so he must have done a good job?

The seats look like sti seats with the red cloth on them from what i can see in the pic. As far as i know all P1's came with blue cloth where the sti cloth is red.

Maybe Wrong but it just looks like a p1 splitter has been put on as it has sti on fog covers and not p1 like the norm.
