Any idea why it many be taking so long to move my UK WRX Bugeye?

I have only just got the plate transfer docs through late last week however I haven't had much contact regarding it since it went up??

I guess it's because it isn't a Classic .... too near the Classic prices, people would rather (for the same money) buy a late Classic.

 

It took me over 6 months to sell mine.
It was one of the best around for the money and in the 6 months I dropped the price 2k
I wanted top dollar for it, but in the end I had to settle below what I wanted.
Unfortunately these cars are the least popular of the Impreza turbo and unless they are either dirt cheap or you are lucky then they are very hard to sell.
Is it possible to part ex it ?

Bad time of year to sell a car.

Bad time for the impreza generally with the uncertainty of the new model.

The bugeye is the least sought after Impreza.

Sorry to put a downer on it but I wouldn't expect you to move this until next year and even then you may not get what you want.
