Default Whats your favourite Scooby Trait ?

We all have something that makes us buy a Subaru, for some its the rumble of the engine and for others its the bucket seats
Whats are your favourite traits ?

To start this off mine is the Bright Switch, utterly pointless but still makes me smile after 6 years of ownership and 7 Scooby's

The way the bonnet wobbles all over the place when going illegally fast, I nearly crapped myself the first time I saw it, thought the thing was going to fly off

The way new buyers can't work out how to turn their lights off because of the switch on top of the steering column.

Gotta agree with the wobbly bonnet (does look like its gonna fly-off) - and the best trait has to be the big scoooooooooooop (esp on the STi) !

I do a lot of cruising on the motorway and have noticed a 'force field' effect around my car - people a little unsure as to wether they should overtake or not.

Probably has the stealth cop look about it.. Any high performance car/saloon cruising at 60mph in lane 1 of a motrway will make regular motorway drivers a tad nervous.

Used to own an ex-police omega. So debadged white omega trundling in the slow lane.. used to see peoplem slowing to a crawl to go past me.. great fun!

If i was borred i would wait for someone to come flying past me and then pull out behind them and pace them for a mile or two.. They usually reduced their speed to 65mph and sat in the slow lane for a bit

It had so much mid range grunt i could catch most things from 60mph start in very short space of time.. no matter what speed they were doing Miss that car for those traits!

I would say the low centre of gravity (from the engine, drivetrain layout) mated to the AWD, which gives it that fantastic balance through the corners even when pushing hard.
I love taking out Scooby virgins. You can always see them standing on the imaginary brakes in the passenger footwell as you approach a bend at speed ... then you notice the fear turn to surprise as you blast out the other side of the bend with no fuss whatsoever

3 Years of owning one and our lass STILL presses the imaginary break peddle. I love it.

Before buying one: Rally heritage

Since owning one: Burble, balance (above) and of course the Bright Switch

When the saxo/corsa/106gti brigade pull up next to you at the lights........

green light comes and they screw it off in a cloud of blue smoke whilst I set off at a normal pace and think "WHAT A ****"

because I know that if I wanted to i'd leave the ***** for dust but think "NO, I DONT HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING"

choosing any lane 2 go right at roundabouts, used to see scoob drivers doing this avoiding the clogged right lane and watching them drive round the outside of people. now i do it 2

Polluting the planet with the LOUD pedal . . . Brill!

And no, I don't give a sh*t - the useless politicians have long ago f*cked the place up for future generations so I'm filling my boots while I'm here! Give it 20 years and all cars will be electric or hydrogen powered anyway.
