Having finally carried out my first ever mechanical exercise on my type ra...just need one final bit of advice...
changed the spark plugs today...geeeeezz what a job for a beginner to tackle...anway....only one thing left stopping me from finishing...anyone any tips on how to reconnect the plug lead back onto number 3 chamber...closest to windscreen drivers side.....cant seem to get the angle right to get the lead over the plug...gave up after 45mins of wiggling about....
saying that I'm rightly pleased that I got this far.....

 

Take the air box out and there is loads more room

Yeah, as they said.... Or, if you have midget hands (like me) you can wriggle it in starting with the coilpack wires pointing downwards and it just pops in. Mind you, I still have to take the washer reservoir out the other side, my hands aren't that tiny....
