Default 02 sti, whats needed for approx 380bhp

Im currently running 320bhp with exhaust mods and ecutek remap. What would i need to bring that power up to at least 380bhp.

Got my *** handed to me by a 350bhp skyline gtr and now i want more power

20g turbo or larger, adjustable fuel pressure reg and some injectors. Get that lot mapped and you'll see approx 380bhp. Id go for an MD321H and pull approx 400bhp with great spool

Being an 02 sti you should have a proper sti engine that came with forged pistons, some say one of the best engines subaru have made.

Turbo approx £1500
fpr approx £200
Injectors approx £300
Mapping approx £80 an hour

On that setup with a good map i see no reason whatsoever that you will be any more unreliable than any other engine.

Yes the sti topmount will be fine. The larger turbo is far more efficient than your stock item so at the same boost will be producing lower charge temps anyway.

Don't know what exhaust mods you have now but you'll need a 3" cat-less exhaust system to reach those sort of power levels.

Also consider having the existing headers & up-pipe ported and wrapped.

The oem injectors should be good for 380~400bhp so I wouldn't bother with new injectors or a fuel pressure regulator unless your mapper says you need them.

Don't even think about changing the standard air filter or top mount except for fitting a K&N panel filter.

You should be able to sell your old VF35 to recover some of your costs and fund your new found addiction!!

Cheers, Mark

could also try Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists | 01246 590 807 - Chesterfield S42 6QX, they do a varied range of turbos, also have a special price on at the min for an sc50, which flows up to roughly 500bhp, tis larger than planned but if you wanna go bigger in the future then £1175, or the td06-t04E £1100 (thats fitted price for the td06) which flows up to roughly 450bhp.

give ema bell and have a chat and i'm sure they can give you some good advice about options and cost, also advise on preping for future plans if you have any

i have a 3 inch cat back but the rest is 2.5''/ So really all i need is the turbo, exhaust mods and the remap.

I already have a ecutek remap so it should only cost me £175 roughly for that part....O its so tempting

Skyline must have been running far in excess of 350bhp (just 30bhp more than you?) to hand you your **** on a plate !!!

A 350bhp 33gtr is not that quick

A 450-500bhp gtr is
