Question

evening folks,

As I spent a many hours of last year up and down the M1 visiting relatives I got to noticing how cr@p the Impreza's sound deadening is - completely standard car is way too noisy! Its almost quieter with the windows open

B4 anyone suggest it, I know the car wasnt built for motorways (its gr9 on B roads) but I happen to use them a lot at the moment, so I'm thinking has anyone tried to add some soundproofing to their car and if so did it work, wheres the best place to put it and whats the best stuff to use?

If I can sort this out I'll be able to remove the large quantity of cheddar from my ears....

Neil

There is a company advertising sound deadening kits for the Impreza range in the latest True Grip magazine (which I don't have here at the moment!). I seem to recall that you can either fit yourself, or they can come to you anywhere in the country.

I'm sure someone will post up the details for you.
