How far have you been in a loan car?
If anyone has ever had a loan did you find yourself driving long distances just because you did not own the car?
Well one of our customers Radek drove from poland to scoobyclinic in his lovley classic for some mods well 427bhp's worth of mods but anyway when he got here we found that Radeks car would need to be with us for about a week so rahter than stay in hotels over here Radek decided to go home. He tried to get a flight but with no joy so we offered him a loan car!
So off he popped to poland in one of our trusty loan cars a 1995 1.8 gl impreza wagon!
And guess what.....................
He's just arrived back in the trusy wagon after 2300 faultless miles 3600km awsome!
Go Radek and the trusy red wagon N335 still going strong!
loan cars rock!!

LOL class. We loaned a Zafira to go Scotland in (Was meant to be a vectra), Didn`t fancy 4 up plus lugage in the scooby! Managed 1500 miles in a week, not quiet Poland but not bad going.

Just this year I rounded up 1,900 in a VW Passat for the first accident.
And 3,200 in a BMW 3 series after the second crash.
All paid for by the third party insurance company.

We used a Ford Escort estate from Hertz as an RAC Rally support barge many years ago. What a state that was in when we finished with it but a quick touch-up with some underseal and fresh paint on one wing got our deposit back!

I think we did about 8000 in a demonstrator after the dealer cocked up the order on the wifes X3, and the wrong spec turned up twice... took them about six months to get it right!
I don't think they expected it to take so long, or for us to do so many miles

didnt get very far with my first loan car. when the scoob was being repaired in april, i got my hands on a 2000 mile old 07 plate 2.0tdi passat.
11 days later, i blew the turbo up.
replacement was a 2.0 mazda 3 with a supposed 6000rpm limit. i had it off 8k all day long once i realised there wasnt a turbo kicking in at 3k

What about the shortest distance in a loan car?
I was having a bumper resprayed last year, they offered me a courtesy car......... a brown Y reg vauxhall cavalier auto witha feeble company logo on the door. I looked at it, thought about it for about a second then politely declined.
The boss then tried to persuade me to take it by telling me it was gratis!!!!
I made my excuses and left to get a taxi. Thank goodness I had the wife's car to use.
Oddly enough the repainted bumper was a great job
