I have seen Spec C's with simular 400+lbs of Torque but they had higher bhp I just wondered if that was due to a different Map, Mods or just different R/Roads differences

the 3 port and uprated acuator help with holding all that boost i think they re two of the most important things when mapping the jdm cars u would never get the kind of boost our cars hold on the standard acutator

What's good about holding boost? I'm no mechanic, apologies ...
TX.
PS
Uprated fuel pump on mine too
PPS
Car sounds good there. What's the "popping" sounds as it slows down?

I'm confused. From your mod list the only real difference to my car is the Induction kit. I was told with my mods, 3" full decat, uprated fuel pump and panel filter, the Spec C wouldn't have a problem holding boost, as such a 3-port boost solenoid and uprated actuator weren't needed, this advice was from one of, if not THE best known mappers. True enough it didn't have a problem in the end? Where did the extra 40 lb/ft of torque come from over my car and mods, can't just be an induction can it? I'm genuinely interested btw.

I wondered the same thing bluenose. I've been told by a couple of mappers that the actuator and 3 port shouldn't make much difference but it seems I may have been mis-informed
I want my extra 40lb/ft

Powerstation fitted an uprated actuator to mine which gave +10 bhp & lb/ft with a minor tweak to the map. Peak torque figures can be a bit variable ... I've had mine on both the Powerstation RR and the one at Engine Advantages in Witham with only 3 bhp difference in peak power but 25 lb/ft torque difference in peak torque; I quote the halfway point which puts me at 355lb/ft.
401 is a great figure and could well be down to a more 'aggressive' map and the induction kit.

i am not specialised when it comes to stuff like this i only know what i was told bye bob rawl he said i needed these things so i brought them. i have had two set of figures now the first was with bob wich come out at about 385 410
then my run with chipped uk wich was 365 401.
i know on the day off the map with bob he did comment on how well my car was achiving figures and holding boost. and also he commented when he sent me data log sheet with power figures. all i know is my car feels very very fast. so its down to mods and bob really
chiiped uk also commeneted after rr saying it was really good.

Not sure about the flow rate of RCW's original spec c pump, but the Walbro replacement was significantly bigger..! Perhaps you're confusing the uprated fuel pick-up (anti surge) of the spec c..?
With regards to the figures, Bob is the man..!
PS: RCW, seen any VV estates lately..?

As above posts, Bob Rawle also recommended my upgrades which I think mirrors Webbies original Phase 1 spec eg zorst, actuator, fuel pump, induction kit, boost solenoid. Then BR worked his magic
TX.
PS
Bit hacked off that "popping" is not standard fare on the remap ... ditto launch control
