Crashed WR1, Rotherham
Not something you want to see anyway, but was even worse when I saw that it was a WR1.
The car was smashed to pieces. Had smashed through a hedge then some trees and then landed in a field, luckily on its wheels, although the roof was severely caved in, so had obviously been rolled.
Hopefully everyone got out ok.

This is crazy. The moment someone posts something that doesn't follow the "Oh deary me, what a shame about that nice Scooby", some clowns start infracting.

Of course my post was tongue in cheek, any person with half an ounce of humour and sense in their body could see that but you always get one thats trigger happy
If all posts on forums were the same then it would be a boring place to be, of course i hope the driver is ok, metal can be repaired and even the driver will see the funny side of what happened when he looks back in 10 years time of how he ended up in a field. Its a story he will tell down the pub to his mates.

[QUOTE=gazza-uk;7411005]and what if the driver swerved to avoid a child in the road? wrecking his pride and you which he has worked hard for?
It's called tough sh*t.
And its still no excuse for tw*ts on this site to infract someone for taking a different view.

I blame books like Thomas The Tank Engine / The Learning Tree for infusing this mythical belief that non living things (and trees) have feelings

Wasnt a test drive as it was getting recovered from the field at 7.30 in the morning. I've seen the car travelling around the area for a while now and am pretty sure that its a middle aged man driving it.

Hope the WR1 chap is ok, we all do silly things and weather he/she was or wasnt is beside the point.
