Rochdale Scoobies
Couldn't think where else to post this, so here goes...
Coming up to Rochdale in a couple of weeks - want to take elderly parents out for a Sunday Lunch - can anyone who lives around the Milnrow area of Rochdale recommend somewhere nice?
Got to be somewhere that is on one level (i.e. no steps) as both are frail and can't manage steps.
Looking for somewhere that does a traditional Sunday Roast (and that preferably has a car park where my STI will be safe)!
Any help from anyone?

I live in Royton so not too many miles away.
let me have a think.
try the Crimble.
looks dead posh and i suppose it is. but is actually quite laid back.
3 course sunday lunch is just over £13.
fantastic place great service and youer parents will love it.
Trust me i promise you'll love the place
Welcome to The Crimble
check out the Grill and go to Sunday Lunch
you can go in the peacock room but that is really upmarket and more expensive
btw a tip here - if you can in the consevatory sit near the window and you get a fantastic view and can see the peacocks roaming about.

I have been to the crimble a few times too. Always good. However I do find the sunday roast in the grill a bit lacking in flavour - its not that its bad, it just never really hits the spot for me, cheap though and worth the price.
I do like the Peacock Room though, food is good in there. Trousers and shirt only though, and really on a Sunday you should wear a tie... we were caught out the first time we went as one of our party decided to wear jeans.. luckily they did not make a fuss but I have seen them refuse entry before.
The grill is more relaxed though, and you can wear what you want.
