Not sure if true, maybe someone on here can confirm, but I thought there were only 424 WR1's made (so 495 might not exist). Would definitely check carefully before putting any money down.

500 were made, but tbh this stinks. No MOT, not been serviced in 14mths, he is prepared to lose £16.5k in a year and what does not mint condition mean
for a car that age i wouldn't expect anything else. I think anyone that has or had a WR1 would care for it like the crown jewels, so if it hasn't stay clear imo.

Before all condem the car !
The owner of 495 has apparently lost his job and home, so someone perhaps down on his luck as tried to keep the car to see if his luck changes. It is at least 3 years old so would also need to be mot'd. As per servicing it may have missed some, but at £13.5k (probably will accept less) is well below the £17k-ish going rate so maybe someones bargain.......or not !
Worth a look at least !

To quick to judge, read the ad....... Subaru : wr1 495
He bought the car 2yrs ago so won't be losing £16.5k in a year either. And its possibly only 2mths over a service (10k service interval/yearly? - stands to be corrected :-) ) It may have a scuff on the bumper or a couple of car park dings which on an 04 plate car you could expect. If I had the moneyto buy I'd definitely consider it and it does say ONO so you could book it in for an MOT after placing a deposit then if things needed doing you could adjust your offer which I'm sure he would agree to

This seems to be an ongoing phenomenon with the board kick people in the gonads first then start asking questions, usually by this time mud slinging and back stabbing has ensued

does sound too cheap to be good, unless you know what you are looking for i would avoid no mot missed servicing not in best condition-if supaguarded should be spot on and left for some time so will need new oil/battery etc

According to above ad he bought the car a year ago for 30k, another ad says 2 years ago for same price
. No one was dissing the guy just pointing out observations.
Anyway car now sold, so maybe his luck is changing
