Default WRX ECU Z4.....How Much?

Was wondering if you could help me.

I currently have a fault with my Z4 ECU, whats a gd price to pay for a replacement one? Have looked on the auction website and they have one one there for £150 buy it now.

Is that a Fair price or over priced??

Thanks for your help once again.

Pablo

Id say that £75 is more like it now. I was offered one by a respected breaker over 18 months ago for £100.

I actually paid more than that a few years back, but they were a lot more difficult to find then.

I'd say £75-£100 is right enough.

If you have a chip you don't need a z4 ecu.. just buy the cheapest ecu you can find and swap the chip into that one. This is assuming the chip is not the problem

Micky, do you mean earlier this year or at the June 2006 NBO? The reason that I ask is that thats when they offered me one for £100!

That was my query but he may not want to spend £150+ to get his car working properly.
