Does it really bother you?? everyday i see people with fogs comming towards me never have i been blinded. You just seem like a angry person to me m8, judging by your response here and on another recent thread you commented on.
No offence m8, just i've got better things to get pi55ed with, it really don't bother me. This has been done to death the other month but if you must rant on...

Try it at night when some git comes towards you with headlights and fogs on, it glares you for 3-4 secs and at 60mph its a bit scary not being able to see the road

It doesn't really bother me, but I don't understand why people do it. I mean do you drive around with your windscreen wipers on when it's not raining?
If people think it looks cool then they are pretty sad really.
Regards,
tiggers.

Just breaking the law...
...I hope you don't meet my friend (in traffic) or any other like-minded police officers.
He hates it and he will pull people for it!
Front fogs don't bother me... rear ones no they do start to hurt after a while.
Trying to post with indifference is really hard!

Its a fixed penalty and 3 points on your licence for driving with front fog lights on in clear weather.
Doesn't wind we up I just think what a tw** when someone passes me with them on.

yawn...... try not concentrating on looking at the offending car!!!
Perhaps looking at the road around/in front of you rather than driving along fixated on the rear view mirror, or glaring at the car approaching you shaking your fist 'Grandpa Simpson style' would help...
If it really gets you so mad you are the one with the problem - life's too short for rant mode - rant mode off

I think it comes down to how many buttons you get with your car! If you pay all that money you expect toys to play with! If you got wing lights, roof lights and engine lights people would put them on too! (oppps you do - their called boy racers!)

LOL @ Theo!! Good point!
Yeah i do find it annoying and i know you can get 3 points for it
but the cops will never do u for it i think.
I was in a car once with a mate and he had them on. Got stopped and
the copper proceded to tell us that you are not allowed to have em on all the time. All my mate said was "oops i thought it was foggy officer" and he let him off! Now if u can get away by saying that then they can all get away with it!!!
Anyway there is no point in it winding you up as there are worse things in life.... the guy infront could have his rear fog on!!

Appologies, but I drove all the way to the local retail park yesterday with mine on, during the day.
I hoovered the car on saturday though, and must have knocked the switch by accident! Can I be excused. I turned them odd as soon as a saw the iccle green light teling me they were on.
Incidentaly, I find people who have to have their headlights on during the day just as anoying. Seriously, its time you learned that the switch has two positions, not just on/off

So what post was that then Cryptwalk, I thought the idea of a bbs it air your opinions on what ever matter that comes along and chat etc etc.
But as logiclee say what does the road traffic act say about driving with fog lamps in good weather?, I suppose your all going to come back now and say that we all break the law at some time or other but hey there seems to be that more and more thoughtless people or persons that don't seem to know what their switches do in their cars and all I was doing was airing an opinion about some dippy bimbo that had her fogs lights on. "There again perhaps that's why scoob ownership is going to the level of the spotty youth brigade"
Thank you Tiggers and Tony for being with me on this one ,oh and thinking of **** things Bug-eyed no offence intended you seem to have a lot more to say than most people on here going by the amount of post you have submitted and the time you registered on! The bbs

I went through the "look at my cool foglights" stage, about 10 years ago in my Audi 80, then the "stupid ****, why has he got his fog lights on when it's clear" stage, now I'm not bothered.
Fog lights are designed to shine light below fog and not at oncoming drivers, so if you are being dazzled then it's because they are using cheap skany fog lights or "driving lamps". I have no idea where I'm going with this by the way, although I do agree there is much more to get angry about than this.
Did you know that you're not actually supposed to use headlights in built-up areas, sidelights only, after all, what are those big orange things on polees for??? All we are doing is wasting bulbs and blinding each other
Dave.

Lord Huxley of Scoobyshire....
BTW the majority of those with fog lights on are not those with Scoobs anyway, I am sure that the couple that you have seen have really damaged the Marque though...
And as I was registered before you I have seniority therefore discussion is now over and it's quality not quantity with posts so don't even go there
