No offence arron, but I dont believe that reason for a second, you had the chance to out it in the first place by not buying it, and on top of that, asking for offers doesnt really equate to having the chance to sell it for what you paid.
Either way, its none of my business and I dont really care at all.

Adam's got a point you know (don't worry, won't make a habit of agreeing with him )
How can you say you've got a position to "out" if you're taking offers ? Eh ?
Or did you get an amazing discount, had your fun, and now want to sell it for the market value (i.e what you paid for it) ?
Doesn't make that much sense.. weird.

Arron will get at least list for it. I got an offer on mine last week at list from a dealer.
Anyway mines shagged and in bits for now. BMW have shown how bad they are when things go wrong. Come back Subaru all is forgiven.
And no Ive not bought the new UK STI yet, even though its quicker than a 22B

Arron,
You've picked the right time to sell... But do it quick, it won't be long until the M3 stops being ultra desirable, I'm not saying it is bad, just that the hype and waiting lists which surround new Beemers tends to last about 6-18 months max, then the cars settle down and depreciate at a sensible rate. They certainly don't stay worth list for too long - SELL SELL SELL. By the end of the year expect to get offered £30k from the dealer who will put it up at £35k.
Of course I could be talking ****, but the same has happened to other recent BMW's - X5, M5 etc... Also import pricing does play a part in used pricing - look what happened to used impreza prices when people started to realise that they could get a new car at 25% off in europe.

And is best to do it before all the local gimps and pimps (like you and Steve ) turn their 318s into M3 lookalikes.
Hang on, whats the difference again?
Oh yeah, the badge. And the doors. No hang on a minute the boot. No no no - will get it in a minute....
Is yours definitely real Arron - is hard to tell nowadays
Certainly looked like a 320 going round Bedford.

There was me thinking that owning a particular car was because you liked driving it, looking at it, sitting in it, etc. Why on earth would you buy a car and then sell it a couple of months later (even for the same price) if you really like it?
When I imported my MY00, I paid around £15.5k all in. I could have walked into a dealer the next day and got around £17k for it on the spot. But why on earth would I want to? I bought the car to drive it, to enjoy it, not to sell a bit later if someone made me a reasonable offer.
And what will you do now? Buy (and wait for) another M3 at list price? Why?
Sorry, but I'm well
Richard (not selling his MY00 PPP because he loves driving it and wouldn't sell it if someone offered him £18k for it)

Bitten Hero, you are a true nutter if you would not sell your car for 18K!

I think I heard him say that it had something to do with how ridiculous it is to have a £40k motor parked outside his 2 bedroom mid terrace mobile home
No seriously though....Birdy has got his priorities right finally and bought a two up two down and now wants a more relevant motor to park in his parking space which is more in keeping with this style of property.
I think he's considering a Ferrari but it depends if he gets the stone cladding fitted to the front of the house in which case an Aston Martin is far more appropriate
