It wont be a direct bolt on job as it has a 4 bolt flange, but if you have the skills, it can be made to fit.

If you hav'nt, it would probably be more cost effective to buy something that will bolt straight up.

(It says that photo is of the actual unit for sale!!!)
I can see it will not fit directly to a classic (or newage for that matter) Impreza. Totally the wrong flanges.

Are the mitsubishi 16g's TD05HR for reverse flow as well? so even if you did get that one to fit it wouldnt work.

Well I guess it does but isnt there a difference in operation as well as flanges on the subaru td05h-16g and the evo td05hr-16g? bit confused as to what the "R" designation means then.

A difference in operation?
Maybe R does mean it is designed to rotate in a different direction, I have no idea on the numbering system, however the turbo would still "operate" in the same way as any other turbo.
Hot gas in and out on one side makes it suck and blow colder air on the other..

All I was getting it in the beginning was the fact that it would be an arsehole of a job making that fit a subaru when it's designed for a Mitsi.

I had a customer that recently bought 2 of these in error which he traded in for Subaru fitment turbos. On dismantling I found that not one single part of either of them would fit in a genuine mitsubishi turbo.
Apart from that the quality control seemed a bit lax as one of them turned freely and one was quite tight

Surely when turbos normally go for a around £700-£1000 quid, when one pops up on ebay for £169.00 PMSL.....
Surely there has got to be alarm bells going off in your head?

I can see why now too.
