Morning all, firstly wishing you a Merry Christmas.
My two week old son woke us up a 5:30 this morning for a feed, so decided what the hell, I am up anyway, let's go for a drive.
Despite the pissing rain and standing water everywhere, I have just had pretty much the best drive of the year. The roads are near enough deserted ... I saw a couple of cars on the motorway, on the way to my favorite a and b-roads, but after that I had the roads completely to myself
Drove like a complete hooligan ... basically the way the Scoob was designed to be driven
Had so much fun, I plan to make this a part of my Christmas present to myself each year. Just hope it's dry next year.
Anyone else been out for a spin this morning?

Had a great blast home at 6 this morning. Think I only saw 1 other car on the 17 mile trip home. It was the only good thing about working nights over christmas. Doesn't help with getting to sleep though.

Did a circuit of my town including some seriously scary driving through some woodland area's (Woburn/Bow Brickhill if anyone is wondering), really mad bit of road and as there was no one in sight I pushed the car quite hard.
Had a few moments where the back of the car flicked out as I planted the power but had the DCCD worked out this time so just let the diff's do their thing and hey presto was still going in the right direction.
It's shocking how quick the RA is from point to point, came flying up a carriage way towards my city centre, to a small roundabout, has a right turn and a straight over road (no left) however it has some nasty camber. Thought **** it, did some heel and toe action, got to 3rd and just went straight over and thought "damn I don't even remember going through it!".
Awesome drive and how I wish the roads were all year round i.e barely any traffic in sight apart from a few Evo and Skylines that gave me bit of a scare

I left Uxbridge at just gone midnight on the 26th.... and drove to Mid Dorset, took about 1hr 45 to do 109 miles, sadly not in my scoob, but mothers passat..... still, once we left the motorway, i reckon we saw less than 5 cars all the way home..... could be worth getting the scoob out in the early hours from now on.... just for the empty roads!!

Haha someone after my own heart. I don't celebrate Christmas for religous reasons (but do enjoy going to all the Christmas dinners I get invited to
) so was a bit bored Christmas day, thought sod it and took the car out for a blast after giving it a good wash.

I drove from West wales to linconshire on X-mas eve left at 5.30 got there at 10.00 not bad for 253 miles and have to say I have never seen the roads so empty. We saw only a handfull of trucks and no more than 150 cars the whole way. Just wished I had been in the scoob i'd of got there quicker but the lexus was a quieter option!!!!!
