Whats wrong with them then.Did too many non-enthusiasts buy them hoping to make a quick profit?

They are lovely motors and I would love one... but would never pay more than £25k for an Impreza of any kind.

I found 17 .....

Bloody expensive for 'last years model'

Maybe they will sell when around £18k? I mean, a new WRX in the new shape costs less than £18k!!

I have yet to meet a SalesMan who will tell me that nothing is selling!!!

Or one that doesn't lie when their lips move, for that matter

yeah, a salesman is never going to admit that the Impreza isn't selling well - its admitting their new car is rubbish

they try and put a positive spin on everything......

It's true with the RB320 though

Loads of dealers bought them up above the odds and tried to sell them for £32k when they first came out. They seemed to have dropped to between £28-£30k now, but their owners are still dreaming IMHO.

i do like the rb320 but why buy one at £28+ when you can buy a type ra-r from litchfield or pcm for the same money and is better spec.

Totally agree with you there Richie, I love the RB320 but for similar cash i'd much prefer the RA-R!

RB320 is a great looking car but like everyone has said £28k + for a second hand car is just not realistic.

As for all the stealers who are still advertising RB's with a few thousand miles on the clocks for £30k plus, well i think they need to pay a visit back to the real world.

Interestingly if you have a look on the RB320 forum there are also a lot of moans about quality with this model and that would also put me off a little.

They're probably thinking the new model is being so badly received that the RB320 will represent the last 'true' Impreza and therefore command these ridiculous premiums they're looking for..!

IMHO they do have a point, in so much as it's the end of an era, however at these prices they're being greedy and deserve to loose money..!

The one failing in their logic is the JDM hawkeye specials already mentioned, but then again some people will not even consider buying a none UK car (Elmer..?)..!

I've never liked the RB320 much.. a normal hawkeye STI is far nicer imo. I just think they look clumsy and ugly personally.

you selling up elmer ?????????

Seeing as it's a white type uk hawkeye(which are far,far rarer then RB320's ) i would surgest at least 3-4K on top of the new list price,so somewhere around 29-31 K sounds about right

I kinda agree with you on this - the extra grill in the front bumper make the front end look fat imo.

I think it's a mix of people buying them to try and make a profit plus people who've bought them and circumstances have changed...

For my money - Bought one and love it

If I was looking to change my car when the RB320 first came out I would have definitely bought one. As for moans/niggles, I`ve never met an Impreza owner who is 100% happy with their car. I`m on my 4th Impreza and love them to bits, but there is a premium especially for 2nd hand cars that I would not cross. For £28-30k thats used M3 prices - I know what I would choose!
