Looking at what you have done already then wouldn't it make sense sticking with the Magnex but getting the decat down-pipe rather than replacing it all? I'd then personally consider further mods before the re-map to notice the most difference over the PPP that you've got already.

In the end if you love your motor and love your mods then it will be money well spent, if you have other essential things to buy then prioritise the funds.

Sort of know what you are on about here fella, around £1k is a decent chunk of change once its been saved up and its a fair amount to splash on a motor that is already a decent car.

Cheers mate.
I asked the same question a good while back that you are asking now - how much of a difference will a full remap give plus a few extras.
Speaking to a load of lads on here, a decat downpipe, filter, uprated fuel pump and a decent remap does transform the car, sometimes figures are irrelevant and it comes down to how motors feel to drive. I've been in the same car as mine but with the changes that I have outlined above, the car was producing 360bhp and 380lb/ft and it was an animal.
So yeah the mods that you are mentioning will have a big effect on your car, if you have nothing else to spend that chunk of change on in the near future and you want your car sorting then get it done and reap the rewards of that extra power!!

From what I've been told from the top mapper in the UK regarding Scoobs, its not essential as the standard fuel pump can cope with supply with regard to the mods that you have mentioned over a shorter period of time, however, replacing it with something like a Walbro 255 is a wise move as it can cope with the supply over a longer period of time. So if you don't have the reddies now it will be fine but get it done when you do have the cash.

Well as fuel pumps go, the one I have mentioned above is a good choice, exhaust system wise the Afterburner Vortex system is top notch, most of the Afterburner stuff is and it sounds amazing! Mapping wise, Mr Forrest, Mr Rawle or Powerstation all come recommended by the majority.
I think that covers what you are looking for at the moment.

If I already had the PPP and a grand to spare i'd go for something like the Powerstation Stage 2 handling upgrade
PowerStation
Have you thought about that?

Do all the engine stuff, but (PLEASE !) stick a Whiteline adjustable ARB on the back. It will transform the handling for about £120, fitted diy in about an hour.... Oversteer with the stiffest setting, neutral on the middle, haven't tried the other !
