Just got back from the dyno
My scooby ( Hawkeye JDM STi) went on the dyno today... The car is stock except from a ctaback greddy PE2 exhaust... It made 315ps and 423nm (engine) and 265ps at the wheels. is this normal? i also bought an sti panel filter but didnt have it on the car on the dyno run... would it have given any extrahorsepower or not?

In an early issue of Scooby Mag they tested Panel filters back to back on a rolling road, I am pretty sure with the STi one fitted they had less power. I can dig it out tomorrow if you need me to...

yeah but isnt that because it was tested on a non jdm car? i think its being made for them and therefore if it wasnt tested on one that might be the reason it didnt get better bhp... btw my car only had the catback exhaust on the dyno run and since i had forgotten to take the filter with me i couldnt dyno it with the sti panel filter...

My old spec c was tested on the rolling road, 2 runs before and 2 runs after fitting, showed an increase of 12bhp and 15lbs of torque, this was whilst the engine was still running and gaining heatsoak also was on the original JDM map, ran at 316bhp with about 260bhp@wheels

I thought the STI filter was a service item as well? So disposable. The fact I don't have to pay for filters anymore is why mine has a Green one in!
