hey,
ok maybe im not so much a newbie going by my registration date but im a newbie to the impreza turbo's
We have purchased a 96 WRX with a knackered engine with the intention of using this as a track car.
We intend to purchase a second hand engine with less than 55k that will then be stripped down cleaned and checked gaskets replaced etc.
I really want the car to be as reliable as it can be. The car will be going for a mapping session after its built to make sure everything is checked and fine.
my main question is what can i do try keep the car as reliable as possible for mild track use..such as creating better air flow..fmic?oil cooler? etc im not sure what to start on!
We also have the 4 pot subaru brakes.. are these brakes suitable for the track with say DS2500 pads and a good quality disc?
Thanks!
