Impreza Sport Special ??

Default Impreza Sport Special ??

I got my wife one of these, i am pleasantly surprised buy the car, quite nippy for what it is, she cant afford insurance on a turbo.

Can anyone give me some more information on the sport specials?
how many where made etc?

Some info here:-

Subaru Impreza Drivers Club [Powered by Invision Power Board]

"The sport special was a limited edition version of the normally aspirated 2.0 Sport Impreza launched at the end of the classic bodyshape.

200 in cashmere yellow (of which I know at least 2 have been completely written off) and 200 in black.

basically they are 2.0 sports with turbo interiors and trim."

There was one written off up near a place called Rosehearty about 2010ish, ex brother in law rolled it through a field after he quickly ran out of talent
