Not with a long ****ty stick.
And thats based on years of hearing horror stories - not just the "coincidence" that many on Scoobynet have the same opinion, who've probably also had years of hearing horror stories.

Yeah I often wonder how they stay in business. Just a visit to them and see that shi£e they stock is enough to put you off buying. I`ve been and seen, shocking was what I thought when I looked round.

i was looking at the Integar Type R that the Keighley group have. Got it RAC inspected and it failed, dismally. It had bad accident damage, front and rear os that had been repaired but not great. Also failed on other things like driveshaft was fecked but covered in grease so it could not be heard etc. Bag of **** if u ask me.

Speak to Shaq the main guy there, had no problem getting a test drive on a few car's, went with one of the young guys there and drove around for a while giving the cars a bit of stick.
I wouldn't recommend the place for a novice, you really need to know what you are buying and whether it's worth the money and investment (i.e to put right). My mate bought his STi 6 from there and it had a few gremlins but nothing wrong mechanically but I did advise him to get an AA check done, it's £125 odd quid for a 14 point check but worth it for peace of mind.
Their new stock that I looked at (hawkeyes and evo's) seemed spot on, I couldn't pick a fault however the older stock you could spot tell tale replacement panels and signs of being damaged. There was one impressive looking R34 GT-R but it turned out to be on a V-Car. A couple of the newage car's were customer car's brought in as trade though.
They did have two mental Evo's in thre, a Evo 6 track car and an Evo 7, stripped out with every track goodie to boot.
Some of the older stock had bumper damage which I was told was due to the car's getting damaged during the trip over from Japan or at the docks because someone decided to test drive the cars.

and it's not so much a deep hatred for these cheap shoddy piles of cr@p.That whether you like it or not are destined for a Japanese scrap yard more often than not.
But more the unscrupulous dealers that get them at auction for next to nothing and flog them on for top dollar.
Dude I invite you to come down to Southampton,I will personnally choffeur you around the docks. There are rows upon rows of these cars just litterally rotting away

i re-iterate my point of the guy just being a plain car snob. anything under him he looks at like a runny dog turd.
mr zero, fair point, but just because the guy has/had nice scoobs (oh any by the way constantly moans about currently owning one - w.t.f.??!!??!!), that doesnt give him collateral to simply bad mouth and tar with one brush which seems is all he has in his decorating pot... if you follow me
i refuse to put anyone on my ignore list... if i want to reply to your drivel mr pucker, i will

It is not fair or reasonable to suggest that all imported cars are crap soley on the strength of these low-quality vehicles. It would be fair to suggest that this crap is the principle reason for the terrible depreciation suffers by Imprezas, leading to their poor image.

Having imported many cars, I am only too aware of the crap that is spammed up and sold at docks auctions. Its also true to say that many 'importers' dont have the first idea how to actually buy a car in Japan and get it here: they simply buy this crap and sell it on. There are many more decent cars in japan though and theyre usually in a far better condition than British cars of a similar age. Because Japan is such a large country/market with a huge churn, even a small percentage of ****-poor cars translates into thousands of actual vehicles. Without the dubious docks auction market these cars would be scrapped, but you cant blame the Japanese for selling them to these cowboys, because they pay more.
